Colt 1908 vest pocket .25.

Still a neat little gun. Surpisingly accurate for all the horror stories about these little pistols.

Front pocket mouse gun is first last always my NAA mini with grip holster. Utilizing the pocket clip with the right pants most folks think its just my knife.

one shot one kill

I carry

in my front pocket... an AR-15. When I wear my clown pants.

in reality, a Colt Mustang Plus II in a Thompson Leather, Elephant leather trimmed pocket holster.

Beretta 418 (Bantam) .25 or NAA .22 LR. Mostly the NAA. In the truck only a Charter Arms Target Bulldog in .44 Special.

I HATE Mouseguns.

:barf: oops, once more:barf:

Okay, I feel better. I HATE mouseguns. I like .44s and 45s in wheelguns, .45s in autos. Life begins at .40, as they say. I don't "really like" ANYTHING that will fit in MY pocket - I'm a small dude. I carry CCW but in a holster.

I'll admit, though, hating mouseguns is not equal to not having mouseguns. I like the biggest thing I conceal, so in a front pocket, that means I like my Colt Agent .38 best for a revolver; .40 cal KelTec P40 in an auto; and I'd take the .40 over the .38 anytime. I have a couple of .380s but they're no smaller than the KelTec, so forget them. Moving on down, the next smaller is my (ugh) ultimate mousegun, a Taurus P22. THAT is a last ditch gun. Just because I hate it, I train with it. That's a Karma thing for another post someday. Anyhow, it's reliable but ick... If you think you ever might carry it, you may as well learn how to HIT with it.

Kel Tec P3at and a S&W 642

Hey Bobo hows that Armalaser??? I'm considering one for my P3at and Glocks.

Match the gun with the threat

I own so many guns I don't remember them when I see them, and I carry a P.O.S. kel-tec P380, becuase it is 11 ounces and has a clip.

When I go to Sin City [Seattle] I like to carry an 11 shot 45acp with 45 Super loads.

I admit I'll be the first and not ashamed............. here we go............... a Jennings J-22............ no really.......................no really. ...............I've got a good one, I have not had the first jam or FTF. I use Remington .22's and I clean it after every time I use it. I know - I know I have already heard it, " all your going to do is piss off the person you shoot" I plan on if I have to use it in a self defence situation I'm going to shoot the bad guy in the face or neck, I beleive that would stop just about anyone, heck, it would stop me from doing bad things and I'm over 300lbs. and 6' 3". Now don't get me wrong, I don't carry the Jennings every where and all the time, most of the time I carry my very well loved Glock ( g-26 ). Heck go ahead and flame me if you want, but I know my Jennings is a good one. Most people I have talked to said their Jennings always jammed or a FTF. The first thing I would ask is "DO you clean it after you shoot it?" Most of the time I here this "NO". I have bought Jennings .22's and Ravens .25's cheap due to the owner said " It"s a peace of crap, jams all the time" I would buy it or it would have been given to me and I would take it home and clean it really good and then guess what, it would shoot good, never jammed.

Bad Choices? Kel-Tecs?

Yeah, I've noticed a bunch of you guys have mouse guns but don't like them very much (same here). I usually want as much firepower as I can get away with (like MORE = BETTER). But the big holster guns (and yeah, long arms) just don't conceal well, so it's "compromise" time. I'd rather carry a mousegun in a pocket in a situation where the holster rig is a "no go" than no gun at all. So yeah, my Kel-Tec P40 does fit in that pocket. It's not a fun shooter, but I'm sure it's no fun on the wrong end, either.

Which brings me to my point. Looks like Kel-Tec does have a following here. I liked that pic of the P3-AT with the laser. Cool. You guys really like your Kel-Tecs? When I bought mine (I only have one) it looked good, price was right, and it was good for size vs power (P40 is pretty concealable for a .40). I'm happy with it. I wonder if they stopped making it 'cause they're ornery to shoot or something. Mine is just about as pleasant at the range as my Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 Special - not the sort of thing you want to play with all day. How do you guys feel about Kel-Tecs as mouse guns?

So how many of the Kel-Tec guys here are on the "big side" of things? I've noticed that trying to hide a full size 1911 is like trying to strap a holster on a beach ball and cover it with a beach towel. It seems the larger you are, the harder to hide a gun! That is unless you wear clothes 2 sizes too big!

jjohnson,

You said it, which is why I have winter carries, summer carries and mid-season carries. Some of thise are formal carries, others are informal carries. Some are cold weather and some more suited to warm or very hot weather...

Then there are the BUGs... So it's everything from 1911s through Kahrs and NAAs clear to baby Brownings and a couple J-frames as well.

Davis 25

A cheap Davis in .25. I can hide it totally in the palm of my hand. I will slip it into my pocket when I feel the need to have just a little something. I carry it on road trips for going into rest area restrooms, showers at truck stops and showers in campgrounds, (I will put it into a soap dish and take it into the shower w/ me).

Glocker...a Jennings:neener:

God forbid you need to defend yourself the the newspaper would say," Mugger shot by Pimp"

Soap Bar Box?

Oh, now that's just cool!:D I have a road trip next week, and now I'm gonna have to get a soap bar box for my little Taurus P22! I'll just yank the grips, blast it with WD-40, blow the excess off with my airhose, and I should be in business, ja? Never thought of that......
