well, i suppose the title says most of the message - my 2nd English-language book is out and already on sale (worldwide) through the publisher's website (JFYI, price 20 GBP = 39 USD); it will be available through major US booksellers next year.

This book took about a year to write, and I hope that it will be useful for anyone who is interested in modern (post-1945) pistols.

This book gives an oversight of the development history of most important pistols of the period, it mentions various trials for military and police sidearms, and also gives technical details of many semiautomatic pistols.
Especially for readers of pro-gun countries, as well as for various professionals I've included brief disassembly instructions for most pistols listed in the book.
There also are many images of pistols, including disassembled ones.

You can find a more detailed description of the book at my website.

I want to thank everybody at this forum who shared their knowledge and experience. My very special thanks also go to following people:
Anthony Williams, who edited the book, translated it from "my" english to English english, and submitted many cartridge photos.
Oleg Volk, who permitted me to use his great images
Ken Lunde, whose excellent photos were used for cover art.

PS: Ken, please contact me, i need your mail address; the signed copy of the book will be on the way to you as soon as i will get my pack of books.

it can be ordered right now from publisher (in UK but ships worldwide) here
or pre-ordered from Amazon (est. May'07) here

BTW, some gentlemen from this forum will soon receive their copies of this book for their help; i hope they will post their opinions here then.

And - thanks everyone, i've learned soo much from this forum!
