Earlier this year I bought a used Dan Wesson 15-2 (about 70-80%) from a great member here. He described the gun perfectly, and I paid accordingly (not very much). I wanted this gun because I had always wanted a DW Pistol Pac with HV shrouds. Well this gun only came with one barrel/shroud and it wasn't HV. I knew this before I bought the gun because I wanted to put on some some EHV barrel/shrouds by EWKarms.

I contacted Eric, the owner of EWK and told him of my intentions. He sold me a basic spring replacement kit for the internals, a barrel wrench, feeler gauge, a bunch of after market sights and the 2 barrel/shroud combos I wanted (4" and 6"). The 6" is a little heavy but feels right at home. I don't think I would buy the larger one, but I would if I needed it. Eric also didn't blue the barrel/shrouds for me either, so this way I can have the guy who is bluing the gun match them all together at the same time. I just wanted to show you guys the before pictures now and will update them with after photos after I get the gun back.

I am really happy so far with my purchase. I have not shot the gun yet though, but will when it is all done. Lemme know what you guys think. Here are the pictures of the 6" barrel on the gun.

Cool setup, I love DWs. I just put a 6" Model 22 on layaway, can't wait to pick it up!

Eric (EWK) is also producing DW barrels in .357 and .44, and he is working into some specialized twist rates in .44 to optimize different bullet weights

Eric made this one. I think he calls it an EH (Eric heavy).
