new york nassau county residential 01 ffl

thinking about setting up a 01 ffl out of my residence in nassau county town of oyster bay. does anyone have any experience with this? would i need a seperate storefront?
 
My understanding is ATF looks to see if your address is zoned for business. If your residence is not in a dual use zone (residential/commercial) if wont fly. You also have to get your state license. Not familiar with NY but you need to check what is required. No state license, no FFL.
