The Romanesque culture of promoting violence for the sake of entertainment is not even a factor.

Words of emotion rather than logic. It's hard to argue with folks who employ such tactics in the same way it's near futile to argue with crazy.

I simply hope publishing such drivel undermines their credibility overall.

Yep, if he didn't have a gun, he surely wouldn't have simply used a kitchen knife to slice her throat
Should we register all kitchen knives like England?

You could always go to Wyoming, shoot somebody with a bow and arrow, stab someone else to death and then commit suicide with said knife!
It appears any implement can be used in a destructive manner. Some folks seem determined to destroy themselves (and others close to them.) They will find a way no matter what you ban, restrict, or prohibit.

Articles like that make me sick. Its the guns fault not his, I can't believe what this country is coming to. I can't believe that the article said that his girlfriend would be alive if there was no second amendment. Sickening.

Jason Whitlock has very little credibility as it is, but I'm sure this is what a lot of his audience wants to hear. However I am pretty certain that a son just recently killed his father and his father's girlfriend with a crossbow and a knife. They are all just tools, and it is the people who use them that are to blame. Pure and simple! Some people just refuse to put the blame where it belongs because that does not give them a warm and fuzzy.

If I killed another person with a hammer, nobody would blame the hammer and rightfully so.

Just another typical gun hater's emotional ranting. It's always easier to blame inanimate objects than the killers themselves.
  10. Ha! They still haven't seized all the guns in Great Britain, Russia, Australia, or Germany after Draconian efforts there. What makes any INTELLIGENT thinker believe that they could ever do it here? I would guess they might get about 60% of the guns before the effort, and the government, would break down in chaos.

As one commenter intelligently put it:

Whitlock is just being provocative. He rarely writes anything that is not overblown and or overly dramatic.
