I picked up a couple hundred of the NWCP "Vixen" 180gr rebated BT bullets a while back just to try something different.

I was told by NWCP to use the same load data for 180gr HP, so I loaded them as I do for some 180gr XTP's. 10mm, 10.2gr Bluedot and 1.260 OAL. They are a little on the hot side, but under the max of 10.7 that Hornady shows.

With these loads, I wasn't too pleased with the accuracy and was not even close to XTP's or Montana Gold JHP with the same load.

Does anyone have some experience with these bullets? These bullets look like very high quality and would like to see if someone has come up with a load that provides better accuracy.

Also, is there an expansion test on these bullets that anyone is aware of?
