Maybe this yahoo has learned something in the last nine years and like THE ONE understand, love, and respect the meaning of the 2nd Amendment. How is that for common sense?

I was reading a woman that was Janet Reno's second in command who made millions as an officer at Fannie Mac is slated for the job.

One notes that press release is over nine years old.

No doubt, anti-gunners never really change their spots - or minds. However, the Democrats know they lose when they pass anti-gun legislation.

I don't think the Obama Administration will overtly attempt to outlaw guns and gun ownership. I think it will be more subtle; possibly raising taxes on firearms and ammunition. Other 'regulatory' actions increasing difficulties in transferring and transporting firearms. If we have a second Obama term, they will up the ante and the level of attack.

I think we need to be watchful. I think we need to lean very heavily on the remaining Republicans in congress to oppose any more 'regulation'; especially the Senators we have left. Like it or not, we cannot depend on the Democrats to stop any restrictions.

By the way, this also applies to other issues. For those who have reservations about the new Administration's view on other issues, keep watching. Let your voice be heard.

Yay! Nothing like having half a million felons on the street, who are in the market for guns, not receive gun from a licensed gun store; that much more business to folks who love making their money by stealing guns from us law abiding citizens, and then turning around and illegally selling them to those same half a million felons who were denied in the first place. Good job! Now their armed, AND I'm out a glock :cuss::cuss::cuss:

...no, thankfully I've never been the victim of this sort of theft, but for those who have, at least you know where your firearms went :uhoh:
