Pistol= SA 1911A1

Shotgun= Mossberg 500

Rifle= SA M1A

I have all the above already with plenty of ammo for a "rainy day".

One each?

I already own two of the three. Well, maybe all three. I can't decide.

I already have the pistol and shotgun, a 1911 in .45 acp and a pump shotgun in 12 guage.

The rifle would be a toss-up between a bolt .308 (have that) and a flat-top AR (have a standard set-up).

Hmmmmm...

I'd say

1.) Walther P99 9x19 (It has stopping power, higher capacity than most pistols {15+1}, most common round in the world, and concealability)

2.) Mossberg 500. (Need I say more?)

3.) Henry Survival Rifle. (It floats, light ammo, another most common round in the world, it can kill small game for survival, and sniping capability if needs be)

That is, if we're talking about SHTF scenario and you absolutely HAVE no other choice and have to carry everything on you. Can I get an AMEN?

Gets everything done, and you can pick up all three for less than 700 bucks.

Pistol - Ruger P89 9mm
Shotgun - Remington 870
Rifle - SKS

Besides, after TEOTWAWKI, you will be able to pick up the nicer guns off of the dead guys on the battlefield :).

Just my .02,
LeonCarr

This is easy, Colt Gold Cup 45, M1A, Model 97 Winchester.
We all have our favorites.

Where it gets hard is if you can have only one gun, period.
Or what to choose for the second, third or fourth of each?

my choice

Handgun: Glock 17 ( meprolite night sight's & min 10mag's and spare part's).
Shotgun: Mossberg 500
Rifle: AR 15 ( BUIS & Eotech & scope, min 20 mag's and a spare part's kit)

Toe

I have my three for now...
1. XD45 tactical-because in 2000 rounds, using everything from match ammo to P.O.S. reloads, not a single failure of any kind.
2. Mossberg 500ATP-Lightweight, somewhat durable, shoots whatever I chamber.
3. Mosin M44- It's a cannon and I can pretty much destroy anything I hit. (soon to be replaced by a Savage HS Precision .308)

Sig 228 - wearing it now
Mossburg 500 - lives under the bed
Bushmaster xm15s ( I think ) anyway , it's the flat top carbine. .. Have that too.

The darling wife can have
the other Sig - p220 stainless
My Remington 870
My Winchester '94 Timber Scout , 44 mag.

Kid can have :
Ruger 10/22
Remington .410
Walther P22 ...

And then there's the neighbors .....

Pistol- Springfield XD.45 Tactical. My current favorite pistol.
Rifle- Either an M1D, or a really really good M1903. Either way, 30-'06 for me.
Shotgun- Couldn't say, no real experience there.

Pistol -Sig P220
Shotgun -Remington 870 (with slugs and shot shells from 2-8)
Rifle - AR15 (20" barrel)

That's what I got and that's why I got em.

357mag Pistol, 357mag Lever Rifle and any 12 guage pump 500 or an 870 preferably.
Sub a 44 mag for the pistol and rifle if you want just so they shoot the same rounds.

Pleased to say they're with me as we speak:

- Smith & Wesson 629 Classic DX 6.5". (.44 mag., of course.)
- Marlin 1894S (.44 mag. as well.)
- Remington 870HD w/ additional 28" smoothbore and 22" rifled barrels.

Can I please also keep my handloading gear?:D

Kimber Custom II.
Mossberg 590A1.
A custom AR carbine:
  • 16" A1 profile barrel
  • Mid-length triangular handguards and gas system
  • Phantom II flash suppressor
  • Fixed front sight and A1 rear (fixed carry handle)
  • Slickside upper and lower
  • A2 stock
  • Ergo grip
  • M4 feed ramp
  • Single-point sling mounted between the buffer tube and receiver

I have 2 of them all ready to go already.

1. Uzi Carbine 9mm for large groups and distances up to 100yds. Reliable, accurate, hi-cap, common cartridge, and interchangable with handgun rounds, not to mention very cool looking.
2. Ruger Blackhawk Convertible .357/.38 w/ 9mm cylinder. Hunting, SD, accurate, three of the most common calibers in the world, ULTRA reliable and very handsome!
3. H&R Single Shot BBL Combo (one serial number = ONE gun)
12ga bbl for door breaching, birds and fast moving targets
.30-06 bbl for long range, large game and anything that the other guns can't kill
.22 bbl for hunting, plinking, and keeping a low key
Covers all bases huh

I'll play. One pistol, Glock 23; One rifle, Remington Model 700 BDL 270; One shotgun, Ithaca Model 37 12 gauge. Revolvers not included?

You didn't say "why" or the purpose of the firearms. But everyone should have at least one 22 rifle, and a 22 handgun (if they shoot handguns).
