Mongo, if the federal government takes its destruction of our constitutional rights two or three steps further than it already has, you might find the ACLU is the best friend you've ever had.

Given the ACLU's work to help preserve what's left of our Second Amendment rights, I'm always shocked to see gun owners who buy into anti-ACLU propoganda.

As for the feds monitoring me, they must be some awfully bored agents. About the most exciting thing I do these days is pluck dandilions from my yard with my Weed Hound. Then again, my wife is pretty hot, so if they're preverts they probably get an eye full.

I semi agree with your statement about ACLU. The problem I have is with "activist" lawyers, like Lynne Stewart. I also have a real problem with the Lawyers Guild, and their Communist influences. I know, two separate organizations... I don't see much diffence in their stances.

BTW, I'll let and help the NRA (cough) defend my rights, before I would even attempt to have the ACLU. I don't trust lawyers of any stripe (including my own). Been worked over by the Family courts enough to know better.

I won't hold my breath for the ACLU to help 2A gun issues, either.

Has anyone asked them how they justify that position after the AG's meticulously researched report that concluded definitively that the RKBA is indeed an individual right? I'd be interested in their reponse.

Because of the infringements already imposed, the constitutional right to keep and bear arms has become so weakened as to be ineffective. Therefore it is null and void.

This is legal logic?
 
Sorry I'm late folks.

Being a single guy, I was looking up some Constitutional information obtained thru the Library of a RKBA , Pro-Gun Website , in regard to right to privacy, and what to do in the event I am stopped and asked for ID .

Against all Enemies, Foreign and Domestic....
