I'll be in the market for a pocket auto sometime over the next couple months, and I've narrowed it down to one of the following three (keeping it inexpensive and lightweight):

P32
P3AT
PF9

I would like to go with the PF9 so that I don't increase the number of calibers I have to keep stocked, but I'm not sure how it would pocket carry. Does anyone carry it as a pocket gun? If so, could you take a picture of your pocket with the gun in it, so I can see how it prints?

Thanks

Almost, but no picture......
I have the P11 and carry it nicely in a Desantis Nemesis. It won't work for me in jeans, but does work in docker style slacks and shorts. It does print some but looks like a wallet. The thing I'm getting used to is the weight in my pocket. Not that it's heavy, just different. By comparison, my other (and primary) carry piece is a full size 1911 carried both OWB and IWB. Pocket carry (with the P11) works great, but it is a different mode and feel than belt carry.

I wasn't willing to step down in power to the .380 or .32, or up in ammo price of either compared to 9mm. So for me it was a fairly easy decision, although I still feel tempted at times when I see just how much smaller and more conealable the P3-AT and P32 are.

I also have on order an OWB and IWB holster for the P11 so I can cover all desired carry modes with both the 1911 and the P11.

Hope this helps, and hope someone else will show you a picture or two.

I carry my PF9 in the front pocket with khaki pants or loose shorts. I have a Uncle Mike's inexpensive holster I use for the BOB and it is actually very comfortable. It also holds my Glock27.
