That is NOT the grease you should be putting on your pistol.... I'm pretty sure of that. :p

Talk about irony: New York City has the best pizza in the US of A, bar none; but show up with a concealed (or open) weapon, and you'll be enjoying the rest of your meals on Riker's Island! :barf:

A female Pizza Hut executive once used this very angle in a statement regarding the company's prohibition on armed drivers. She actually asked, rhetorically, about the possibility of a driver pulling a gun on a customer. "What if he doesn't like his tip"

Goes to show PH doesn't have much confidence in the sanity of their employees if all it takes for one to "snap" is the presence of a weapon.

I first read about All Around Pizza a couple of days ago on a delivery driver's forum. Meant to bring it here. I do drive for a pizza delivery company one night a week.

While carrying is less common in many parts of California because it depends on the county sheriff allowing it, I still don't like to support chains I know prevent delivery drivers from carrying.

Pizza delivery drivers have one of the most dangerous professions, and need to carry more than most. Being on call to drive wherever a caller wants, and it being a service well known to all of society including desperate elements, they are often targets.

In fact they are one of the top homicide victims by job. They fit in a category though with safer jobs at the federal level (bureau of labor statistics) like much more numerous truck drivers that are rarely victims so it makes it appear less dangerous than it really is.
Taxi drivers and pizza delivery drivers have some of the highest victimization rates of all professions, and corrospondingly high homicide rates.
Police and security have rates several times lower by comparison.
Disarming them is practically criminal itself.

I would feel better purchasing pizza from a place that allowed its employees to carry.

I'd love to see someone's face here if you asked them if they take coupons from other pizza restaurants....

    That is just too cool.
I wish more businesses supported the 2nd Amend.

I wish Dominos let us carry... It's not the safest job out there... but a good job when you need some cash... but, I'd rather be judged by 12 then carried by 12 if it ever came to that...

If I were anywhere near there I would order from them once a week! If I'm ever in Californistan (by my own free will) I will go there.

I work one night a week for a well-known company franchise. Our current uniform standard doesn't require us to tuck our shirts in. Not that we're permitted to carry... just sayin, is all...

Johnny, how much do you weigh?

I wish all delivery drivers could be armed.

I believe anytime you bring a gun to a restaurant you get a discount.:D

I'd love to do something like that, but I'd go broke. Out here in Elbert, it would amount to a 15% pay cut.

I am going to have to try that. I know a lot of people come in my shop carrying. I have no problem with it.

As originally stated, the restaurant is in Virginia Beach. The owner said on a local radio station this morning that he planned to run this program at least until March, but may keep it going indefinitely if he continues to see the support and popularity that he has seen so far.
He doesn't care what type of firearm you bring; any type gets you the discount.
