Please post a non link listing of any Polls you find.
Make it a non link so there is no trace back to THR which might invalidate the poll, a way to do this is to leave off the WWW. from the address.
example
abc.com
www.abc.com

1)
Poll on ABC about gun control !!! Everyone needs to vote.

Poll is about 6 inches down in the center of the page in the "blue" banner.
abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=3045574&page=1

2)
http://www.nypost.com/news/news.htm
The Virginia Tech massacre has ignited debate on gun control. Do you think:
23.5 % Handguns should be banned
23.4 % Gun restrictions should only be tightened
53.1 % No change is needed. Guns are only a problem in the wrong hands

3)
"Should college students be allowed to carry concealed weapons on campus?"

woodradio.com/main.html

4)

It is on the main page of www.cnn.com. The question now is:

"Will gun control be a factor when you vote for president next year?"

5)
And one with two possibly good answers in it.

Here's the text, slightly edited for clarity.

A gunman killed 32 people at Virginia Tech on Monday
How can similar tragedies be prevented?

Add technology to lockdown buildings, screen visitors, alert students, contact police
Do a better job of monitoring students' mental health
Adopt stricter gun control laws
Allow trained school staff members to carry guns
Such attacks can't be prevented

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just copy and paste into your browser window and remove the spaces

Maybe I'm being a little too careful. Figured this way someone couldn't even google their own poll to see if it's been copied anywhere :D .

http ://men.msn. com/articlepollgc.aspx?cp-documentid=4732850&gt1=9311

Which do you support?

More gun control 33%
More gun rights 52%
Neither 15%

PollingPoint VT/guns poll

This poll has been up for almost a month. It gives some opportunity to actually type in an answer vs. just click yes/no.

Bobo, you need to make sure the links posted here aren't "live" links (that is make it to where they aren't clickable). Just post everything AFTER the www. and we can copy them, paste them into a new browser window and type three w's and a .

If the link is live, and you click on it, the admin of the site you're going to will see http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=271026 as a "referring page" and if we hammer one of their polls they'll yank it down if they see a lot of traffic coming from one place.

physics--
Please go back and re-read the previous post. Including the entire link allows tracing back. Exactly what we are trying to avoid.
