do any of you guys go in a real time live chat room/s that discuss some of the topics that we post about on this site?

though it would be cool to visit in real time much lke the chat rooms on AOL.

They still have chat rooms on AOL?
Haven't looked at AOL since 1996....probably the last time I was in a chat room.

Okay, well, I don't think real time chat is very useful for serious discussion. Maybe its a generational thing. But I still prefer email and forums because I can take the time to reflect on what I'm reading, and to think carefully about what I'm writing. For real time communication, I prefer it to be face to face. About the only time I use chat is when it is available as an alternative to the phone for online help and support for products or services I have purchased.
