So I've got the 4" version of the redhawk and am having a tough time finding a good holster for it. I'm a big fan of the hunter 1100 series holsters. But unfortunately they don't make one for the 4" redhawk just for the 5.5" and up. I've got a 2" leather cartridge belt that I carry the gun on, so that rules out galco unfortunately. Any suggestions?

A few years ago I had a guy named Earl Southard make a holster for my Ruger Alaskan. I had him make one that could be go on and off without removing the belt. Very good quality and a very good price. Not sue how to contact him, but you might try to look him up. He would make what you need to your specs.

I would suspect that the Bianchi 5BHL woud fit the 4" Redhawk. I use it for a 4" M57 (N-frame). It is a nice well-made belt holster.

You can't go wrong with a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake....it holds a big revolver well. The Sourdough goes very well with a typical heavy belt made by any of the holster makers, including Rob at Simply Rugged. With a good stiff belt it will hold a large heavy handgun in tight to the body, and comfortably.
