Robar is a Phoenix, Arizona company that builds and customizes pistol, rifles and shotguns. They have been in business for over 20 years.

Robar specializes in and Electroless Nickel/Teflon finish called NP3 and a black finish called Roguard. They guaranty both these finishes for life.

They also do Matte Blueing, Parkerizing, Nickel, Chrome Sulfite and other finishes.

Their other big specialty is reshaping Glock frames. And if you have a Springfield XD you should feel what they can do to the triggers of those pistols!

Robar's Roguard and NP3 pretty much set the standard for what a finish should be.
About any account that you can find will state that a Robar finish is better that what the factory will give you.
