You guys who have a Ruger LCP what holster are you using?...I am want a leather Pocket Holster...will the Kel Tec 3AT holsters work?

When I was in my favorite local gun store recently the Ruger sales rep. was there and had a brand new LCP he was showing the store's owner. I had the chance to hold it and examine it closely. Coincidentally, I was carrying my P3AT in its holster that day (see pic)

and the LCP fits the holster perfectly which is a 2n'1 by K&D holster. Sadly, the P3AT mag does not fit the LCP - but the LCP mag fits the holster quite well.

So, if I decide to spring for a new LCP my current holster will do just fine.

I got the Nemesis for my P3AT and it lists the Ruger LCP on the package also. I think they are similar enough that any P3AT holster should work for the LCP.

I'm looking at the Nemesis and Superfly, but I'd ideally like something that covers a bit more of the trigger guard (call me paranoid if you will). Any ideas?

I have to pull the pistol out a little bit with a nemesis to even get my finger behind the trigger, let alone on it. By the time it's out far enough to put a finger on the trigger the gun is all the way out of the holster.
I'm sure there are ones that have more coverage like the style that dairycreek posted above.

This is my LCP holster, enroute from Meco in TX. $51 shipped, already have one of his Seecamp LWS pocket holsters that looks as good as the day I got it.

I requested the natural finish, as I love the patina that leather takes on over time.

Who made that holster...do they have a website...I like that

Karate,
The holster was made by Robert Locke in Texas. You can email him here:

[email protected]

He will probably send you his phone number, talk to you on the phone to be sure of exactly what you want, and put it together for you.

No website for his holsters, just one guy making holsters one at a time for pocket pistols. He's supposedly a hell of a welder, though.

PM me if you can't get in touch and I'll see if I have any other contact info for you....

I use both of these from Alabama Holster...

Both are available for the LCP with crimson trace Laser grips. 30 day return policy and lifetime warranty. They are both very small, thin and conceal well. Can't beat it. IMHO

I got this on ebay for my p3at. I have had it for about a month and love it. I use a Desantis Nemesis only if I have to tuck my shirt. I am thinking about trying to convert this one to a tuckable by buying the tuckable style clip from CrossBreed. I think I can remove the belt clip and put a hole just above the bottom clip catch to attach the chicago screw and spacer for the tuckable clip

At the risk of embarrassment and being called an idiot, I'll share this "for the good of the order" and to possibly avert a tragedy:

My Nemisis pocket holster/LCP combination is so comfortable I oftentimes forget it is there. So here's what happened. My grandkids aren't old enough to know that it is wrong to go into another's pockets looking for goodies, especially when being playful. So in a moment of inattention, my grandson stuck his hand in my pocket and nearly pulled out the pistol, asking if it was a cell phone. Now a 3-year old's fingers aren't strong enough to pull the trigger, but this was a real wake-up call for grandpa, let me tell you. (Fortunately nobody else in the family saw the incident.)

So be careful around curious little kids, and never become complacent about carrying in one's pocket like I did.

Yes, I work for the Alabama Holster Company. The owners are good people and make a great product.

Thanks for being honest about it. I'm not a moderator, but it's generally considered deceitful to praise a product when you have some affiliation unless you clearly state the affiliation.

I'm not suggesting that you're dishonest. It just appears that you are unaware of the accepted protocol.

Good looking holster, btw.

I am not trying to sell holsters here, I just want to let people know what options are out there for them. I have been carrying for 20+ years and have had too many holsters to mention. When I find one that works I like to tell people about it. The only holsters I've talked about here are the ones that I use personally on a daily basis and these are just my opinions. As always, YMMV :)

I like this "Old Wallet" holster by Homemade Industries.

But seriously, I couldn't find a holster thin enough for the front pocket in my jeans. I simply cut the leather from an old wallet and sewed it to form "muzzle" around my gun. The natural leather is stretchy to make the holster snug fitting, but easy to slide off when it's time to rock and roll.

Keeps my trigger guarded as well as dirt and debris from entering my barrel.
