Might be looking to acquire a 67-1 and was wondering if they are rated for +P ammo.....

    Maybe not officially by S&W.

Because the 67 came out two years before the +P .38 Spl designation was introduced by SAAMI in 1974. The 67-1 in 1977.

However, all Stainless S&W's are perfectly fine with todays +P ammo.
It is little more then what standard .38 Spl was then.
And not nearly what .38 Spl Hi-Speed was then.

For that matter all S&W's made after model numbers were stamped inside the frame starting in 1955 are fine with +P ammo.

So, any K-Frame revolver made after 1958 is safe to shoot +P ammo.
