Fellow Shooters,
Going "naked" is easy with your Saiga. I had some worries that the FSB on the Saiga .308 would be pinned and welded, but I found out that it was only held in place by pins. Here is a pic of the naked barrel.
You can see where the cuts are made to accomodate the pinned on front sight. Just a little tap with a mallet and it slid right off. Unfortunately the diamater is still too large for threading a AK47 type muzzle brake onto the end. However..I just might keep her "naked" because I kinda like the look!
Here she is sans front sight..
I'll definitely have to add a Ruskie scope now!
