Yes I agree that this is too much handgun for defense but it does address something some people like to say over and over again. No handgun has enough power to do what a rifle does because it cannot get the velocity.
I am thinking with a fast bullet this is going to behave like a rifle when it hits the target.
I suppose if you had one sidearm in big animal country, Moose and Big Bear you could load it to act like rifle ammo if it needs to get pressed into service as a defense gun.
I for one would not want to use it in that capacity.
