Hi all.

I went to the range today. I put down range about 250+ round today. But i notice i am keep hitting off center and most of my shot was going toward the bottom left of my target. I am shooting a Springfield XD service 9mm. I was using winchester FMJ. I know it has to do with the way i aim. I am not sure how to correct this. i am a righty with left eye being dominant. Thanks for the help.

I agree with others. Unless your sights are actually not aligned properly, you're anticipating the recoil and flinching before you squeeze the trigger. How long have you been shooting?

I been shooting for about 1 month. i been to the range almost every weekend since.

Try having a buddy load a magazine for you and put a dummy round somewhere in there. Also have him/her watch you shoot. When you get to the dummy round you should see yourself push the muzzle down in anticipation of the recoil. If this is the case, try shooting a smaller caliber for a while and then try the larger caliber again. Also, don't try to fight the recoil too much. Just hang on firmly and ride it as the muzzle flips up and let it come back down onto target. You might also try playing with your thumb postion a little. Pratice makes perfect. You'll get it in time!

keep in mind those have 6 o'clock sights
