Stoeger Coach Guns are very nice for the price. I paid 300 for mine and it has been completely reliable. They are stiff to begin with, but I took mine appart and loosened it up a little. It makes for a handy bird gun.

This is my only shotgun. It's an 870 HD that I've added a 20 inch IC RS barrel, XS sights, factory LE three round extension kit, Wilson Combat mag spring and follower, factory LE stocks, R3 recoil pad, and a Wilderness Tactical standard carry sling with Uncle Mike's swivels. The pouch is a BDS Tactical Ultimate Dump Pouch.

P.S. = I hate hunt101, I'm moving my pics. I must be the last person on their dying servers.

Awesome! How do you like it, spinr?

I got my dealer/enabler trying to locate me a similar Stoeger Coach.

I like it very much. Great little gun; kicks hard. You might say it hurts so good.

If you're close to Hendersonville, you might check with Rex's Guns & Ammo. Got mine there back in December. Had bunches of Stoegers at the time.

My first post here.

Hello from the UK everybody.
My two shotguns, 1st is a Greener GP in 12ga, 26 inch and half choke.
Bottom is my 870 Wingmaster, 28 inch multi-choke also in 12ga.
I have the original wood and the plastic set, which is what I use in the field.
Neil.

Welcome, Neil. I've shot a Greener made like that, nice sturdy single shot.

FYI, once long ago, I was stationed in Essex. Near Braintree. Nice area....

DAVIDSDIVAD, Thanks for the welcome.
Dave McCracken, Again thanks, Braintree is about 25 miles away, nice area but getting a bit built up now.
The Greener, possibly my favourite shotgun of all time, I cannot see me ever being without one.
I have had many guns over the years, but I always seem to have a GP in the safe.
This one is the best condition one I have had so far, I just like the simplicity of the design.
Very easy to strip and clean, fires any 2 3/4 inch shell I might ever need.
I usually use fairly hot 30 gram loads of 6's, but occasionally hot 36 gram loads of 4's for geese.
And as it is fairly heavy for a s/b gun recoil is not a problem when you may only fire 4 or 5 shots a day.
I have also shot trap with it, then I drop to 24 grams of 7.5's, again recoil is ok, provided I stay below 100 shots a day.
Looking for a nice .410 SxS at the moment, AYA round-body No2 or similar with 28 or 30 inch barrels, seems Hens teeth are easier to find :banghead:
Neil. :)

PS: I can't find a "quote post" button, anybody ?
