I'm looking for a vertical shoulder holster for my s&w that covers the trigger and holds the gun firmly in place.
No need for a quick draw style since I live in Sweden where carrying is not permited unless to/from the range/competition and drawing a gun even in self defense would be a crime. :banghead:
Preferably a holster that attaches to my belt on both sides of my torso.
A bonus if it can hold 2-3 speedloaders.

Tips/Pics appreciated :)

I recently bought one of these for my 5" S&W 629. It works OK, not great, but just OK. The price was less than $30 US, as I recall. Speedloader pouches will be extra, but they'll make for an uncomfortable bulge under the arm.

I have a couple 5" 629's and a couple 5" PC 627's and wanted a shoulder rig and a hip holster and have been wondering what would work best? I see alot for the 4" but not much for the 5". I did not like the look of the Uncle Mikes and I am glad to hear if you liked yours, "L-2". I want something in Leather like what "grahn" was looking for.

The ALessi FIeldmaster looks like a Heavy DUty well thought out
shoulder rig. It touts a feature of one handed draw as well as a retaining
strap if you're rock climbing/in rough country. and from the rig straps
it looks like it's on both shoulders as well as a belt hookup
which I think is what the original poster was looking for. It's something
I would want for my S&W 625 5 inch or even the 617 6 inch.

SOmeone asked about a strong side hip holster for a big revolver
which might be good backpacking for access.

Milt Sparks - the classic Hackathorn Special or the
#200AW with the thumb snap are top notch. I have one
on order with a matching 1 1/2" inch belt Cordovan with
basket weave on each. 12 Oxz. Horsehide.

Long after the price is forgotten for good gear it
will still serve you well instead of melting falling
apart;.

"...want something in Leather..." $200US from Alessi or $67 for a Triple K at Cabela's. Uncle Mike's makes high quality stuff for a great price. $35.99 will buy a verticle shoulder holster. Used a horizontal shoulder rig for my BHP while in the Queen's Service. Comfortable to wear and light.
Not many come with speed loader pouches, but they can be had separately.
