Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Its ok that's an older picture notice the Ipod and a flip phone? Hornady AP press is ok but could be better. I load 17 or 18 different calibers. Lots of change overs.

thanks X-ring

@73ch13 - The ballpeen hammer is a nice touch! For fine tuning your loading gear??? :D

Nice loading setup. You are eons ahead of those who are still "thinkin' about it."
Built the whole thing by hand. The ball is for the very occasional stuck case. I use it to drive the decapping pin out. Also for when my wife is bugging me.

-Safety is no accident, unless you accidentally leave the safety on when you intend to shoot.

Very nice, Nature Boy. That's a sweet setup you got there. Yeah, you may need some more room, but you really have it well organized. Did you make that bench yourself?

Sort of. It was a computer nook in our house that wasn't being used. I built the shelf, added an MDF top and skinned it with Formica. That feaux top sits on the Corian underneath so I didn't have to drill into it to mount the press and swager. I counter sunk the mounting hardware from the backside. One of these days I'll cut off those bolts sticking up.

When casting lead take some precautions. Washing your hands is likely number one. Eating healthy meals reduce lead absorption rates in the blood. A painters mask can stop lead particulates.

1. Yes I love my lee dies. Easy to set and adjust.
2. I only shoot about 2,000 rounds a month. Remember I can only pull one handle at a time.
3. It's not kool-aid. I vote red ,I reload red. O.K. maybe a little kool-aid. You did notice that I do have a F.A.R.T. it's not red.
4. Now I use to empty the power measure until the power hopper came loose and spilled power all over my bench. I called Hornady and asked them if there was a fix or was ok to leave the power in. They said the only problem with leaving the power in the hopper was it would discolor the hopper. Well I use the deluxe control panel and it monitors power level. And additional benefit is it cuts down on static.

Nice setup Drainsmith. You have any luck with that LNL beam scale? I went through several that either had the magnets in wrong or just would not zero no matter what I or Hornady did. They gave me a LNL electronic bench scale instead which I'm very happy with . I have one of their GS-1500 scales that has worked as good or better than the bench scale.

I just couldn't get any of the LNL beam scales to work. I use a 40 some year old Ohaus 10-10 for checking the two electronic ones I have and both of them have been right on with it.
