Neither is a .22 I'd particularly like, except that, IIRC, the P22 is easy to suppress and is available in "kit" forms from NFA dealers with a suppressor ready to go. (Usual paperwork and tax stamp, of course.)

AKs used to be infamous to liberals and MORONS but now that theyve had their receivers traded out and there parts replaced with a correct number of US parts.
Obviously they have an image tied to them and you should get yourself something that doesnt have some high score like 32 attached to it.
