This gun comes with one mag. where can I get a couple spares and who makes the best mags for this one. Any one have one of the new the ones? They changed them a bit new frame pin design and looks like new laser button.

I purchased a bg 380 with the serial number starting with EAF. They have later models out and yes, they have worked out all of the bugs based on my experiences as well as others I have read on various forums. Very accurate little gun and reliable. Its also more comfortable to shoot that a P3AT or LCP IMO.

As for extra mags, I ordered mine directly through Smith & Wesson and received them within a couple weeks.

How are the more recent models? I was interested in the Bodyguard when it came out and wanted to like the pistol, but kept hearing a lot of negative feedback. You said the bugs have been worked out so I was wondering if they are nearly 100% reliable. I was looking at either the Bodyguard or an LCP with Crimson Trace. Thanks.

I came on here for this very reason to get feedback on the BG .380 I have a P3AT and it has been ok after a "fluff and Buff" but at times still concerns me on jamming issues. The LCP seems nice but now that I have seen the BG .380 with the laser sights I am really impressed. So over all what is everyone's feedback? Is it a reliable gun? What price are they going for on average? I know the MSRP is $399. It has been over two years since my last gun purchase and I am getting the itch really, really bad. Any advice and feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I ordered my mags from smith & wesson, paid extra $ for shipping - ordered them on Thursday February 10th, and I got them on Monday February 14. $21 a piece plus shipping.

I purchased my BG last week for $339.00 and picked up 3 extra mags for $18.95 per. BTW, I really like this gun and prefer it over the LCP.

I'll say this, if it's even an inkling of a thought of a purchase for you, do it, 100% reliable and way more accurate than a gun should ever be of this size, I mean WAY more accurate, it does have a rather long trigger pull but if you were looking at other pocket guns it's nothing to worry about, mine is an eae btw

I just picked one up last week locally for $379.95 and ordered a couple of mags from S&W. I haven't had a chance to get to the range yet, but it is one of the newer models with the raised rim around the laser button and the button requires a firm, positive press to activate. Takedown requires a little effort to remove the pin, so it seems they've addressed the issue with them working loose.
