I'm no huge fan of 1911's myself. very good guns just not for me. However that is by far the WORST looking one I've ever seen.

They look like toys. Great for the 'second surprise', or the 'oh yeah?' factor. But, as someone else has mentioned, could get you in more trouble than out of it. God help us if the guy ever comes up with a glow-in-the-dark epoxy.

As BryanP said, I might be able to live with screwing up the Taurus, but to do that to a RR 1911.

Maybe it was a hoser before, bad pitting, etc. But I still can't see that. Black or grey epoxy, maybe. This is just bad juju.
