There's a Springfield 1911 A-1 stainless steel pistol I'm thinking about buying, but I'm not sure which model it is, or if it is the "loaded" model. Is there any way to tell which model it is? It just says 1911 A1 on the side. Thanks, Neil

Since there are several different versions of the "Loaded" series... I'd suggest you go to their website and see if you can find what you were looking at. I warn you, while I love my Springfield, I hate their website.

I've looked there, but I wasn't sure if there were some markings (numbers, letters, etc.) on the gun that would indicate the model. Thanks, Neil
