    Picked this up yesterday. Pretty sweet. Tight fit, crisp, light trigger, great sights, slim grips, match barrel... Old school style.

    I'm not sure fiber optic = old school...Nice looking gun, though.

    And that there is exactly the front sight I want on my 1991 .38 Super.

    Very nice! Sort of like a Government Model being given some high performance features yet still having an old school look to it with the matte blue finish and the double diamond grips.

    Yes. This is what I meant.

    Fiber optic sights are clearly not old school.

    I was tempted to buy some VZ operators at the shop, but I couldn't bring myself to remove the double diamonds... Yet.

    A lot of 1911's deserve VZ's to make them stand out. In this case i don't agree. Leave the double diamonds on for sure! NICE pistola!
