Why bother? Because it has the ring of a Mooreism -- an assertion thrown out with the assurance that no one will question it. Sounds right. And if it's not exactly right on the micro level it's true on the macro level - hey, 50 thousand boys died for """""""Nixon's War"""""""""""""", and you're quibbling about whether they came from Davison or Flint or wherever? Tell you what: I'll grant him the nine if he grants me yellowcake.

I responded by telling him that, this was a conflict initiated by Eisenhower, (after the French defeat at Dien Bien Phu) inherited by JFK, and inherited buy LBJ, who said."I will not send American boys to die half way around the world"!!
I took offense to this piece of drivel ,and e-mailed my opinion

Who, except you, would understand that frame of reference???!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this directed toward the intelligentsia???? I'm sure you're aware, they are few and far between!

I suspect, you are the teller of tall tales, as used, by Michael Moore , the user of the agitprop.
