"Lycanthrope" is Latin for shapeshifter and, more specifically, a werewolf.

Wolfe is my last name and I have an affinity for Canis Lupus.

:)

Kilrain=Killer Angels

There once was a book by Michael Shaara entitled, "The Killer Angels." It was about the Civil War battle of Gettysburg. Then, there was a movie called "Gettysburg", the screen adaption of this novel. Then, there was a song by Steve Earle called Dixieland. And finally, a movie called "Gods And Generals" about the earlier Civil War battles.

A fictional character named "Buster Kilrain" is a key element in all of these. Kilrain of the 20th Maine.

My faithful Indian companion, Otnot, is paranoid about vampires, so we always keep our pistols loaded with one or two cartridges with silver bullets.

Bob (Robert) is my first name (most common name in 1951, I think).

Bullet is either as a reference to shooting in general, or in honor of Roy Roger's dog. Hey, sure, I wanted Trigger, but Bullet was a cool German Shepherd! If Roy had a cat, wonder what it's name would be?

Managed a group of creative types that were all about 10 years younger than me.

After several occaisons where my advice / guidance proved to be right...despite their best efforts at doing things another way.

They jokingly started asking me to teach them the way of the force!

The name sort of stuck....

10 years later I am starting to look like him!

Liquid Tension Experiment:
Mike Portnoy (God of Drums)
Jordan Rudess (Master of Keyboards)
Tony Levin (King of Bass)
John Petrucci (THE MAN, my idol, absolute sin on a fretboard)

Sound clip (listen to the whole thing, even if you don't like it you'll at least respect the guys)

Samples from both albums.

Anybody that likes good prog rock probably knows who they are. Here's some info for anybody else that cares.

They're good enough for me to use the (really cool) name, and I have no problem giving them free advertising.
