Who did the 18-25 year old males vote for?

22 yr old male here. I voted for Badnarik.

My 21 yr old, politically uneducated girlfriend voted for Bush. Seems that many on this board did too. ;)

Oh, Bush didn't let the AWB die. Congress pulled that one off. Bush is the guy who said he would extend it. I couldn't, in good conscience, vote for such a traitor.

Bush = Kerry with different accent and different haircut. Kerry has better taste in neckties though. Thats the only difference.

19 here and voted Badnarik. And rest assured I wasn't one of the 76% that kept McCain in the senete. :banghead:

Let's just hope a ever so slightly more Republican congress makes some headway into repealing gun control, or at the very least doesn't make it any worse!

MSNBC actually showed the stat for that age group after the election. I think it was something like 45-55 Kerry. Which is actually less of a margin than I expected.

Outstanding results here!

My one daughter, 23, voted for Bush. The older one, 26, ................... voted The Dark Side.

24 y.o. here that voted for Bush. My 22 year old brother in law on the other hand voted for Kerry because of the "draft issue". He brought it up a couple weeks ago, and though I tried breifly to assure him there would be no draft, I don't think he got the message. Not worth messing with in-law relations when I wouldn't be able to change his mind anyway.

Most of my friends and I voted Dubya. We're all college aged. One of my roommates voted third party and another would've voted for Bush but he decided to be lazy because MI is always democratic.

These posts are all anecdotal

Try CNN.com's exit poll

Lot's more breakdowns as well.

All ages:
Bush Kerry Nader
18-29 (17 % of total) 45% 54% 0%

30-44 (29% of total) 53% 46% 1%

45-59 (30% of total) 51% 48% 0%

60+ (24% of total) 54% 46% 0%

My wife and I are 21 and we both voted for Badnarik. If he weren't on the ballot and there were no such thing as write-ins, I probably would've left the president section blank.

On another note, my wife's ballot got sent to her parents house, as she used to live there. They knew she wasn't a big Bush fan, so they refused to give up her ballot. She had to do a provisional.

Conversely, my mom told me that I'd better not vote for Bush, and if I did she wouldn't cook for me anymore when I visit.

18 years old. Voted straight R...

Don't give a rat's behind about the draft because:

A) It's not going to happen unless something goes seriously wrong

amd

B) I'm volunteering for the military anyway
-That one REALLY tends to stop lefties in their tracks :what:

Hell, when we anounced going back to Iraq and I was completely hating my job I seriously considered signing up. I'm not scared of a Draft. If things get to that point I'll be in line at a recruiting station before a letter can ever get to my house. Three things keep me from signing up: my house, my physical condition, and my age. If I had a chance to do it all over, I'd probably be career military.

I wanted to vote Lib, but Kerry scared me into voting Bush.

When I first heard folks spouting off about reinstating the draft I laughed. Our military does NOT want any draftees, for any job, ever again.

Later, when I realised large numbers of people took all that seriously, all I could do was shake my head.

The Sixties ended before I was born, but some folks are not willing to acknowledge that.

I voted for Bush, as did my roommate, two guys across the hall from me, and my RA. I don't know how the rest of my dorm broke down. We're all 18-20.
