I've been wanting either a tac light or new foreend w/a built in light for my Model 37. Trouble is, I can't find a mount made specifically for the Model 37. Will a Remington 870 light mount work on this? I've called Surefire and they weren't able to help. Thanks for any help you can offer.

There just aren't many accessories made for the Ithaca.
Ithaca started to fade before the current availability of accessories, and most manufactures never bother to make versions for the Ithaca.

I don't think a light made for a Remington will fit an Ithaca, ESPECIALLY if it's a replacement forearm.
Remington forearms are NOT compatible with the Ithaca which is a different size, and a totally different design.

You CAN get a Side saddle from Tac Star. Sure fire used to make a Mod 37 12 ga. forearm light, I saw one on E bay last month. I did not buy it because all my 37s are 20 guage, and 12 ga. M37s are different.!:(

IIRC, Choate still sells a pretty decent side-folder buttstock for M37's. There's also some other plastic pistolgrip stocks available from Choate and others, but nothing that really looks too interesting.

Thanks for the help so far. Mainly I was interested in lights but I found out that Surefire discontinued them. For future reference the numbers were:

Surefire 624FA 6V Tactical Light
Surefire H24A (also H24) Mounting Assembly
