I have carried my 232 for almost 5yrs, I shoot it well, its is reliable, fits my hand, and easy to conceal in a IWB holster. With BB 100gr ammo, it will end any threat I might run into, and it looks good. VERY happy

I'm waiting for these.......

.......to come in to put on mine:

This will be the second set of grips I got from him. Reasonable prices and decent workmanship. I did see another pair of woods on there last night but can't seem to find them now. Was going to post the link. MarschallGrips (sp?) also makes some but they really got expensive. And for some reason their 230/232 grips look odd.

Love my 232, its ben converted over to DAO, and I like that way, had tried the Khar Pm9, but after it turned out to be crap I went back to the SIG and haven't looked back. SOme day when I can justify for myself a R9 I may switch up

WEIGHT and bulk is the issue

USP9

Height and length are not the issue concerning the SIG 232 (alloy frame) versus the BERETTA 84. The 84 weighs half a pound more when loaded. That is too much for a pocket carry.

If I were carrying on a belt holster, then the 84 would look much better with a larger magazine capacity.

I have a P230 my father gave me, can't stand the feel of the plastic grips. Any sugestions?
I found the package for the wood grips in response # 21 - they're Hogue "Exotic Hardwood" whatever the hell that is. look nice and feel good too.

Hmmmm, not a good thing,......

........found some P230s for sale on GunBroker at reasonable prices. Here's one auction and the person selling has a few available:

Little rough looking, but it wouldn't be the first time I purchased a worn looking firearm and it turned out to be a sweet shooter. Gentleman seems to have quite a few .380s. CZs, Beretta 84s, etc. Wonder where he gets them and just how good they are. I could end up with an aluminum framed one for pocket use after all. ;)

Got my grips, need to find time to take a pic and struggle through the posting process. Not too good at it.

I spent months looking for the 'right' small framed gun for carry. Didn't like the current generation of pocket guns.

Wanted a PPK but only if I could get a blued one in .32 acp.

Tried to find a CZ-82 (9x18) but no luck there (at least not one that I wanted to pick up).

Finally, last month I ran across the P230/P232 in .380 and was in love. Found a nice example of a P230SL at KTP for a reasonable price with an extra mag and jumped on it.

Very happy so far.

1st .380 I bought

It is just fun and beautiful weapon. I do not carry it but will always have it and enjoy shooting, mine is full stainless with Hogue grips. My kids will own it one day...

Love Mine.

Just got the grips.

I wish I could find....

.......a set of the older mags with the stainless bottomplates, or even just the bottomplates themselves.

I love mine!! One of my favorite handguns. It is very accurate for it's size, and super reliable. The grips fit my hands very well. It is a pleasure to shoot with Hydrashoks. I have custom holsters made for it.
