The target below is a new personal best for me at 25 yds (actually 22), 50 shots, standing, two hands, no rest, iron sights, using Wilson Classic 1911. Scored 499 out of a possible 500. The ten ring measures 3 1/8 inch. Shot this target last week, just nine days before my 68th birthday. Guess there's still hope for us old codgers.

Very good shooting. A pic of the gun would be a help.

Glad to oblige. The only pic I have at the moment is taken using point light source and is not of the best quality but does show the Wilson Classic 1911 used to shoot the target above.

    Good shooting and be safe.

    Great shooting!!

'course, one would expect these results when using the 1911 chambered in 45ACP ;)

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I DO like that Wilson pistol. My scores averaged 475 using another brand of 1911 but climbed quickly to 495 after getting the Wilson. I seem to have trouble maintaining perfect concentration for 50 straight shots. The target above is the closest I have come so far.

    Good shooting and be safe.
