I can't find any 9mm +P Ranger ammo so I thought I would roll my own. Anyone have any idea which powder they use? I have the bullets and can get the weight of the powder.

It doesn't work that way.. no one knows and if you did, you couldn't get it since "it" changes all the time essentially. Just get some Power Pistol or something that's in the books that'll have good pressures but high performance.

Call Winchester to see if they can help. Odds are, they won't.

HS6 w/ 124gr XTP or Gold Dot are great loads. If you wanted to you could probably match Ranger velocity. IMO, Mag primers work best for HS6 loads.

Alliant Power Pistol and Vihtavouri 3N37 will also get you to 9mm +P without exceeding b ook maximums.

Always follow safe reloading practices.

Just my .02,
LeonCarr
