For all of you who don't think people should carry in church. This happened at a time other than the Sunday worship service, but it still happened in a church. In a related article, her father stated she had bi-polar disorder, so maybe some of you will say she should not have had a gun anyway. That is not the point, although some of you will invariably miss it. The point is that bad guys can strike anywhere.

As a side note, I carry in church, our pastor knows it, as well as some of the congregation. In the past month or so I have been approached by several of the ladies, asking me to take them shooting. Of course, Mrs. Plinker will accompany us!

We have a "security detail"that patrols the parking lot during services, but they're not armed(that I knowof)..but it's a start....I may be the only one carrying most times....I guess I should bring more ammo.

So, the article managed to completely ignore what happened. The woman was shot, but there was no mention of an assailant. Was it self inflicted?

    My condolences to the family.
