Years ago I acquired a cintrifugal bullet trap made by the X-Ring Bullet Trap Company of Pekin, Illinois. It is tripod mounted and must weigh at least 75 pounds. Seems that this company is long out of business. I've shot a bunch of .22's into it but was wondering if it is suitable for anything larger. does anyone know anything about this trap?

I found a ad from 1953 listed on ebay. In the text of the ad they say the trap is good for 600ft lbs. of energy. I would not use any magnum loading on the trap.

    Should be good for 38-44-45.
