Win 20g Price info please?

Got a Winchester 1300 20g Youth Model new and unfired that I am thinking about selling or trading for something. It has the prettiest dark stock with some light marble effect in the wood and the stock is reason I bought it. I have never been a shotgunner, and have a Mossberg that I bought about 25 years ago and had it about 10 years before I ever fired it (8 or 10 times) and it has been in gun safe ever since. So I have been thinking about getting rid of it and have no idea of the value.

What is a reasonable price for the gun? $300 to $400 or am I a way to high?

I believe in a range of $275 to $350 I would be very surprised to see one sell for over $350 . I think $325 would be just about right for the gun.

Look it up on gunbroker and see what people are willing to pay for it.

Thanks mnrivrat that is what I needed. Been thinking of using the two shotguns as trading trading material and know what the Mossberg was worth, but had not seen a 1300 Winchester Youth model on any auction sight.

I am looking at trading them in on a Colt Commander that looks new, has box and papers, but the guy is asking $750 for the black beauty with white pimp grips or a new S&W 610-3 4" barrel for same price.

What to do, what to do. Probably nothing.

Edit:

Ok, I just did it for you. In the last 30 days exactly 1 Winchester 1300 20g sold on Gunbroker ... for $140. There is one that has been listed for the last two months (at least) for $296 that has yet to generate a single bid.

Is that all? They were youth model unfired? I had the box and papers until the basement flooded last month. Must not have been new guns I guess.

Anyway I had been thinking $450 range for the two guns and think it is reasonable trade allowance.

mgkdrgn thanks for the input, but it would be a cold day before I sold either shotgun for $140, would sell the 1300 for $250 maybe, and the Mossey for $200/$225 I guess since it is the 24" sighted SB slug barrel.

That said the more I think about it, I think I should just give each of the two grandson a shotgun.
