I like both the Congress and Stockman patterns and have a number of both in my collection, these Bulldogs are a couple favorites. The stag on the Stockman is tremendous...

That's why it isn't exactly "fair" for me to participate in these things. That's one drawer out of several. I've backed down on my collecting but increased the average "cost" of what I collect these days so you won't see many production knives more recent than 6 years back.
What I like falls into different categories. Some are vintage autos and I like them differently than the modern versions. Some are art and some are users and I like them differently. Some are made by friends and I like them differently than the ones that aren't. I like the small MTs and the small GT. They'll fit in a watch pocket, feel good in the hand and SNAP. I like the Vallottons because they're very well made double action autos and they're friends. I like the antique fishtail because it is an old Schrade.

I may be unaware, but do you have a post or pictures of the whole collection? I'm thinking it would be epic...
...fair or not.

It might take some time to get it all, but here are 2 other drawers in the cabinet.
Fixed Folders

Don,
That's less than a third of the whole collection. "Collection" is a mistake. Affliction would be more accurate.

That is an awesome collection! I should have more but I only kept 2 knives from when I made them and I never did buy many. I did trade for 6-8 nice customs but that's about it.

I'll post my favorite:
![]() That's a Valkman fighter I finished, put handles on, and made the sheath for. Aside from carrying it hiking, I really haven't "used" it for anything, though.

![]() Just got this one over the weekend. My wife found it at her work (a major hotel), put it in lost and found where it remained for 8 months, no one claimed it. She brought it home to me. |
