Welcome to The High Road AmercianNewYorker24!

Did you check the "Rules Button" at the top of the page?

Discussion is kept pretty much on Gun and 2nd Amendment related topics. The High Road does not tolerate the hostility and bad natured attacks seen on a lot of Forums. There is a huge amount of wisdom, knowledge and experience around firearms and gun law among the members here and it's generally very profitable to spend time here.

No, "debating different political social and economic topics about my state and country" when it is not under the topic of Gun and 2nd Amendment related subjects have better places for discussion than The High Road.

Stick around and you'll learn lots about firearms.

Hi all,
I've been a shooter for years but I'm really now starting to concealed carry and I've started my first AR build. I'm always open to learning more about concealed carry, training and drills for all kinds of shooting. Right now I carry a snub nose .38 taurus revolver but I'm looking to upgrade to a 9mm auto. any suggestions?

Hi everyone. Just joined the group. My name is Jay. I'm attempting to increase my knowledge of rifles and long distance target shooting. Haven't purchased my first rifle yet. Looked like a good forum to ask question and get good sound information. Thanks for having me.

Hello folks,
I just joined THR as I have quit the corporate rat race and am moving out to the country to hunt, fish, grow and can my own food. I've already got lots of good info here to help me decide on which guns I'll be buying. I'd like to thank all the members for their contributions, and I hope to make some myself very soon.

Cheers!

Name's RJ, USAF vet, signals... returned to Texas, never want to leave again, ever. I know three rifles: the M-16A2 (which i hated), the Ruger 10-22 (which i loved), and the Winchester 94, though I'm open to Marlin, Mossberg etc. I've drawn a gun in deadly earnest twice, and don't ever want to do it again, unless i'm looking at something edible.
I hate politics, social causes, etc., and will gladly give my vote to whomever seems most likely to tell the truth (not likely), get on with it (good luck), and leave me alone as much as possible in the process.

Greetings From Southwest Florida

I've been picking up great information here for years and finally decided it was time to stop lurking, become legitimate and register. I'm no stranger to forums. You'll find my moniker on several.

I'm an old geezer. So, nowadays my shooting is limited to handguns and targets. I do CC and never leave home without something in my pocket or attached to my waist.

And, while I like all calibers, all sizes and shapes, pistols and revolvers, I've gone "full-circle" in my dotage and mostly enjoy .22 caliber. (Though I still love shooting my .45's and especially .45 Colt.

Well, that's a long winded hello. I look forward to joining in and hope to be able to contribute something, from time to time, as well.

.

Hi,

I'm new to the forum. I have my concealed and carry permit and I do my own reloading. My guns are in my signature. I'm usually looking for another gun. Right now I'm looking for a good deal on a S&W 460 XVR mag.

Hey all,

Been lurking around for a time. Enjoyed the discourse so much that I thought I'd make things official and participate.

Mid-twenties, husband, new father, active-duty Army.

I've never owned a firearm before, but I'm very interested in making it a hobby. Looking forward to all of your input, advice and future conversations. Take care.

Forum Rules

I joined this forum a few years back. Have not posted much nor do I view any forum posts by others. I can't believe the type, number of and subject matter of rules stipulated here. Seems anti poster driven, even somewhat open to interpretation. Anyhow just a point of view. Moderators are you anti-gun? Who are you? Is there a location on your website where you've posted your backround and expertise on any subject? I assume this post will be "taken down" by the first moderator who reads it. Please send me a PM. I'd like a comeback.

My name's Walt. I'm retired after 40 years in Aerospace. I collect single action pistols & lever action rifles. I like to reload. My main reason for joining THR is to talk to people who have similar interests.

Welcome and beware!
This forum is almost as addictive as owning / collecting firearms! Lol
Do you hunt or just collect and shoot?
Also what region or area do you hail from?
