Thanks specifically to Longknife12 and every one here generally, I'm not a life member. I'm very happy this deal has stayed open so long.

The first time I called 1-800-672-3888 and entered 1 and then 2 at the prompts I got through. I mentioned up front that I wanted to renew my membership for a life membership at $300. The whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. The lady taking the call was very nice.

Thanks again.

Hey, don't thank me. Homers is the one that started it, I simply tried to help some others. Don't think I'm an ingrate.
This is simly part of the promotion of shooting sports and the 2d amendment.

I'm not sure if this has been answered already in this multi-page thread, but had anybody converted from life member to an endowment member here? Recently been offered to become one. Besides the monetary contribution to the cause and the nice certificate, any other benefits to being an endowment member?

Mods, if this is not appropriate to ask here, feel free to delete.

Good question (I hear it a lot at events like "Friends of the NRA," and gun-shows/stores). I have always used this link as a comparison:

https://membership.nrahq.org/forms/superlife.asp

I simply can't currently afford to upgrade beyond Life, but I am going out to the NRA Store tonight to pick up a sweatshirt and a cleaning kit (all very resonably priced which surprised me ). 100% of the profits go to fund NRA programs so at least it is mutually beneficial. And of course, I attend the NRA Friends meetings, help recruit new members and financially contribute when able.

-Cheers

I became a Lifer back in the Nam era. Upgraded to Endowment a few years ago. Only thing I have gained is the knowledge that I am again helping to preserve the 2d amendment. I do not regret it!

If this life membership deal is still going on, will someone be willing to sponsor me? Thanks for your time.

Hey,

If you find out it's still going on (I thought it had ended?) let us know and we will be happy to sponsor.

-Cheers

Faro,

Have you contacted the NRA to see if the offer is still valid? We will first need to know the fundamentals.

Acera,

So just to be sure, the $300 Life Membership is still available?

-Cheers

I don't work for the NRA so I cannot say for sure, you will just have to call and check. If interested I would call and tell them I want the $300 life membership, not ask if it's still available and see if you are in luck.

If not, don't fret, they usually run it again at the beginning of the year anyway.

Note also that The NRA runs a Christmas special each year (for existing members) whereby they offer Life Membership for $500.

That said, the numbers are what is critical so membership on any scale is what it's all about. And obviously financial donations when possible are extremely critical in the fight to maintain our Second Amendment Rights. Suffice it to say that the fight will go on unabated as long as the antis feel they have a chance to get at our GUNS.

Member Sponsor

I also would like to convert to life membership, if still 300 clams, and a sponsorship from a generous soul.
