Finally started a new reloading room in the new house, not near as large as I want, but will move it all to the 36 x 40 heated shop in a year or two....

They're coming through for me.
Looks like a great room to hide away in, Cleftwynd.

Here is mine

Just finished this bench, I've been loading for almost a year. I load for 223 Rem, 308 Win, 270 Win for my son, and soon 7mm Rem Mag, all bolt action rifles

Started off with the Lee anniversary kit and a couple odds and ends added to it. Mounted it on an old kitchen cart we had lying around.

It did the trick but with no storage it was a pain to work with. I had it set up in the front room until my wife got sick enough of looking at it that she let me build a proper bench in our bonus room, no heat in the garage. A sheet of one good side pine and some 2x4 and a 2x6 and off I went. Basically used a modified version of the NRMA plans. On the left is a pull out draw of sorts that I mounted my press to so I would be facing the room and tv. Didnt work as I had hoped, not stable enough and when I was working at the bench I felt jammed into the corner.

So I partially took the bench apart, pulled the "drawer" out, changed the placement of my press and put it back together. The press is mounted to a chunk of 2x6 and then mounted to the bench with bolts that feed into some tee-nuts on the bottom side I did this so that the press could be removed for when I need the bench for working on guns or something else and the press is shared by my neighbour so he can take it mount it to his bench when he needs it.

As you can see my remodeling left me with a bit of staining to touch up. I love having a spot for most of my reloading and cleaning supplies. In the future when the garage has heat or the kids move out, whatever comes first this bench will be a starting point for a reloading room with another 2'x8' work bench with a lot more storage, Id like to make the cabinet on the current bench about 3 times as high in the future but all in good time. It does the trick and I am sure I will find myself sitting there many nights this winter.

I have just been given a bunch of RCBS gear so I guess I am going green, now I need to figure out how to mount it all up. Will also need to build a small cabinet beside the bench to house some of my growing supplies

Can't get all 4 walls in the pic but you get the idea. The window is my favorite part of the room. I can load and test them out at 100 yd's. Would have to go outside for anything over 100 . Have not finished it yet but hope to in the coming week's. With plans to put a gun cleaning bench in the middle where the two eyeball light's are pointing on the floor. Maybe some book shelves in the other room for more storage. There's still just not enough room but it's better than the closet I was in for 20 yr's.lol Thank's for the comment's.

I lust after a room like that. Someday I will have it. For now though I am lucky enough to have a small room all to my self.

Wow, all these photos make me really want to expand my reloading area. Reckon I had better do it while I'm still single so it will fall under a grandfather clause...

Jaxondog,

I have another project for you, that much powder needs to be inclosed in a wooden box structure with 1 inch thick walls. Putting doors and side walls on it should work.

If I could just take a sleeping bag into that loading room and sleep, it might be worth it.

Your room is inspiring. Nicely done.

On another note, I wish my LGS stocked the variety of powder you do.

I should not have looked again. The sad part is, I don't know which one I envy more, the supplies or the room.
