New Memeber

Hello everyone I've lurked on this forums since I've been into guns (A very enjoyably, and important passion to me), and I've learned so much from the knowledgeable people here, but I just got around to registering.

Well... I don't know what else to say so that's it.

Hi everyone! New guy here! New to this forum, not new to firearms. Heard a lot about this forum, thought I would come over and get some different opinions.

Joined in 2009 but didn't have much to say until now. I have a two tone FN FNP-9, but it's sitting in my FFL's safe in his name due to a 23 year old protection order in New Jersey, the state where protection orders do not die a natural death. I'm working on getting it lifted so i can claim my baby back. For now, I'll do all I can to attempt to defeat the tsunami of new laws that is on the horizon.

New Member here. Retired Army after 21 years. Hunter in the northeast. Had 3 AR's in the stable (.22, .223, .308) a week ago - finally gave in and unloaded them while I could still get decent legal trade on them.... got a couple Kimber bolts instead (84M - a .308 and a varmint 22-250). NRA member, just got the membership upgraded to Endowment. Run a small rod and gun club. B6

Hi I'm, Rick77

Just joined today. Started target shooting in the late 70s and owned a number of different guns. Do to hard economic times for me, I had to sell my guns but plan on obtaining new ones. I have been a member of the NRA back in the 80s, but let my membership slip. Last week I rejoined the NRA to help fight the gun grabbers. I am also into ham radio, but I have always loved the shooting sports.

New from Orlando! Usually on XD talk but I keep finding myself coming to this forum. Into target shooting, self defense, and will be getting a reloading press within the next few months. I like talking with like minded individuals. Other things I'm into, craft beer, running, & classic rock. My favorite pistol is an XDM 5.25 9mm. I've got a 3.8 .45 for carry and have an old C75B

Hello All-
This forum was recommended to me by my girlfriend as a very good resource for responsible gun owners. I am a story board and comic book illustrator by trade, but am getting back into owning fire arms. Years ago, I owned a 22 rifle and a 357 revolver, which I no longer own. I am not a hunter, and guns for personal defense is a very important issue to me, but primarily I like to shoot for fun.

Thank you

not really new...

...Just using a new handle. Formerly MacGuyver77. I realized I misspelled the name some time a while back, and finally decided to create a new handle with the correct spelling.

Hi my name is bob and I have lots of rifle related question I am fairly new to gun ownership where are the best sites to look to compare military style rifles to get an idea of cost, value ammunition calibers used etc.
IE IMBEL-FALH, how to determine ammo calibers for rifles etc any information where to start would be helpful so that I could ask more intelligent questions on your forum

Hi all

Hey everyone, nfausa here! I'm a Texas gun owner, and have gotten into the NFA game here starting about a year ago. Already have three smg's and multiple cans. My credit card still hurts!

Thanks for having me, and looking forward to contributing!

hi all

Well I have been reading this forum for years and never joined. I grew up around fire arms in the communist state of massachussets. Hope this site will help me network with other ma gun owners. I love my country I love the constitution and hate our politicians. Thank for this great site!

Not completely new to THR. I was mentioned a couple of times in 2003 when I wrote a review of Enemies Foreign and Domestic by Matt Bracken. I also bought a couple of cases and distributed them.

I retired last year and have turned more energy toward restoring the Constitution. I have taken over the Gun Watch Blog and have been having some success with original content articles. Dr. John Jay Ray is the originator of the blog, and he has volumes of great scholarly articles about the psychology of "liberals" or "leftists" linked to the site.

The most successful article so far as been my compilation of Mass Killings Stopped by Armend Citizens.

I just posted it on THR.

http://gunwatch.blogspot.com/2012/12...-citizens.html

I have posted over 9,000 self defense and gun related articles on the freerepublic.com banglist.

This looks like a great site.

Hey guys-

Been reading the forum for a while now and figured I should probably stop being a spectator and get involved in the discussions.

I've been shooting most my life but just started to become more of a collector/enthusiast the last 5 or so years. Escaped from NJ about 7 years ago and now live in rural NE Ohio southwest of Cleveland.

Hope to learn and contribute a lot.

Hi...I'm a noob, glad to be here

Just started reading THR and find it has some really good info. I'm going to be a noob doing some reloading which is how I found the site. Been playing with firearms for near half a century but just recently got serious with it.
