madcratebuilder: Your cat and i like that gun. Nice.
I already posted my future SBR on page one, so i guess i'll post another. It is a pic thread. My 3 gun stick: Edit: I have since upgraded the scope and mount to a Nikon Monarch African 1-4x on a ADM Recon QD mount.

I'm cheating a little since this was only issued to me.
Colt M4A1, serial number W352845. 3 years, Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, Texas, Nevada, and two trips to Afghanistan. Shot this thing so much that they had to re-barrel it. Ah, the memories..... I miss this little guy. ![]() ![]() Fortunately I have an M&P-15 to remind me of it if my memory ever gets a little fuzzy

Thanks for your appreciation. The list price for a Colt M4A1 is somewhere around $550. I don't believe their military contract guns come even close to the quality of the civilian guns but I never once had a malfunction with mine on either semi or full auto, suppressed or unsuppressed. Only problems I ever had were due to a bad lot of ammo.
I wish they let me keep my M110 SASS though too. That thing lists for $30,000 I'm convinced that somebody, somewhere is getting kickbacks for that gun.

Exactly the same thing happened to mine. Can't seem to remember many of the details surrounding the 'incident' either. Funny how that works.

First let me say I REALLY like the A1 types you guys have shown. Make me feel forty years younger.
These were at a "carbine" class was taking. The second picture was of a neat accessory that one guy had for loading his magazines. -kBob |

Troy Defense Carbine, with swapped out Troy Battle Ax CQB grip, and MOE stock. The Troy stock was the ugliest thing ever created.

Oh gods, I agree, all of Troy's plastic/polymer furniture sucks in terms off appearance. They should stick to sights and stocks.
