I'm waiting on a crossbreed OWB holster for mine. I've been using the XD supplied holster with no problems.

Shot the XDs a few times now. Really like the gun. I have bigger hands and having my little finger hanging out there was a little unsettling. With the extension magazine, it really feels good in the hand. Love the single stack in that the gun is slim and conceals well.

That threw me off too and I almost didn't buy the gun as a result. I decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised.

Quick note, I have stopped carrying Hornady CD in this gun. Mine seems to prefer 230 grain ammo (accuracy wise), so I now use TAP 230, gr. +P's....... very accurate in my XDs.

I haven't come across a load mine doesn't prefer. Very happy with it's ability to digest everything I've thrown at it so far. Heck of a fun gun to shoot.
