Yesterday I went to my LGS to buy a GSG 1911 for practice, and while I was there I spotted an original GSG5 before the HK lawsuit, so I came home with both. Put about 100 rounds through both and they are a blast.

Picked up a Remington 1100 20 gauge standard a couple of weeks ago. Dates from 1967-1968 and is a sweet shooter. I am in the process of refinishing the stock now.

I purchased a S&W M&P9c. I can't shoot it. I live in IL-ANNOY and sent my renewal FOID application, along with a check in December. My FOID card expired 02/01/2013. I called the State Police and they said they were inundated with new and renewal applications. I could expect my FOID card in 30 - 60 days. Without a current FOID card, one can not shoot in Illinois.

Steyr S9-A1 (9mm) in early December after seeing Skyfall and the villain having a Steyr pistol in the final scene.
amazing pistol (newest gen with roll pin under sights) and GREAT price (just $479). it's my favorite polymer pistol right now. also planned to get a SIG 516.... but then came CT and now I'm not too hot on spending an inflated $3,000 on that rifle.... |

Great gun and really glad I picked it up before current attempts to ban black rifles.

I just picked up one of those Taurus Ultralite 44 mags last week. I was hoping that I could use it as my new woods gun but, unfortionately, it's been sent to Taurus for warranty work. Fortunately though I have a Glock 20 that has done just fine as my woods gun. So far so good with Taurus customer service. I'm hoping its issues can be worked out.
