Ok, so here is my story. Been researching reloading for about a year and a half, shooting since I was about 8 years old. My father and I split a lock in load progressive press for Christmas, also my birthday. I bought everything I needed to start reloading. I ordered my 223 shellplate on 12/26/12 for $35 from Amazon. As I watched the tracking on it waiting in anticipation for my new hobby it showed delivered usps on 1/10/13. Long story short, I never received it. While I was trying to track down the shellplate between my post office and amazon my father ordered another with a 1-2 month shipping estimate. After refunding my money I waited again to begin my hobby. This time it showed shipping on 2/27/13, and out for delivery on Friday March first. I was soooo excited!!! Well come Friday after work the status showed pushed to next day for delivery. So I thought no worries, what's another day. Then Saturday it was pushed to Monday, this is when I called UPS. They had me contact amazon and started a "trace" for the package. Outcome was damaged merchandise, carton opened, item missing. ANGRY. I'm at the point where I just might as well pay $200 on ebay for one, but will it ever get to me???? If anyone would be kind enough to sell me one for under the ridiculous prices I have seen, it would be greatly appreciated.

My boss gave me the money to buy a mold, so after I slug his barrel and order the mold I will have some 9 mill bullets to offer up. They will be tumble lube and 125 or 147 grains I think. I am going to order the mold from Tom at Accurate molds. Even if the weight is longer than two weeks his molds are worth it. And a friend just found us some small rifle and pistol primers for normal prices. So thanks to friends We are well on our way. Last edited by grubbylabs; March 9, 2013 at 11:29 AM. |

Order form Midway, they at least get the order right. I just got a mag pull rear peep in the mail for my boss. And I just ordered the shell plate and dies to load his 9 mill. I just wish I had the coin to get an actual 45 shell plate instead of the #1 shell plate I have been using. Come to think of it, I would love to have one for loading my 44 mag plinkers.

If anyone is in dire need of .223 brass (meaning they have powder and boolets), I have been picking it up at my range and a few other spots I know people go shoot. I will be willing to pack up 300 cases for anyone that is in need. I have collected enough that I am going to start looking for some lee .223 dies now.
Also have some other random pieces (I think 4 or 5 500 cases and maybe a dozen 7.62x51) ... I figured if I found stuff I didn't use I'd pick it up for here.. It's not much, but it's freebies.. |

I could use a 45lc shell holder or shellplate. I'll even pay for it.

OK, after another plunge into the old supply closet (aka the Black Hole), here's what I discovered:
1. 5.7x28 - around 75-100 *GONE* 2. 300 WSM - 6ea (I know, I know, not real impressive number, but 6 is better than none) 3. 243 WIN - 20 *GONE* 4. 22-250 - 10 5. 357 MAG - 2 bags, 100 - 150 each *GONE* 6. 38 Spcl - 2 bags, 100 - 150 each *GONE* 7. 5.56x45(crimped) - around 100 - 150 *GONE* Also, though I realize this is a reloading thread, if anyone is interested in an unused Uncle Mikes size 15 vertical Side Kick shoulder holster, I have one up for grabs. (I'm tired of moving it out of my way and my shoulder doesn't let me use it. )That's all for now, will venture back into the black hole in a couple days!

RCBS #18 shell holder
I have been looking for a .44 mag RCBS #18 shell holder and cant find one. Need it for my RCBS hand primer which seems to have a flare where the shell holder fits. Seems RCBS shell holders are tapered to fit this flare.

I'm closing out the estate of a deceased friend and have a couple of things to offer but ONLY TO A NEW RELOADER please.
SPOKEN FOR *****First item is a brand new in the package Frankford Arsenal electronic powder scale, the Micro Reloading Scale model. It has batteries enclosed in the package but it's several years old and you may need to buy new batteries. I believe this scale goes up to 750 grains and sold for $40 when it was available. It's discontinued but it's a good scale. Next item is a Pacific powder measure, it's a really old one on a stand, no model number on it, but it has a square brass bar that slides from side to side, and uses bushings to measure the charge. It's in excellent condition. It has one bushing in it, but I've read that you can buy standard nylon 1/2 inch bushings at any hardware store and drill them out to get the desired volume. Yeah that's a little bit of trouble but it will work for light target loads just fine. You might get lucky and find the bushings on fleabay also. Not designed for anything like max or magnum loads. *****SEE POST BELOW BY JJJITTERS!! THANKS!! Here's the deal: All I ask is that these go to new reloaders, and the recipient repay the shipping cost, nothing more. The scale will go in a small FRB for $5, the powder measure will require a medium FRB for $11. First "I'll take it" gets the item. Last edited by medalguy; March 10, 2013 at 03:01 PM. |

BRHbar, if your weapon is chambered for 5.56 I've got around 100 cases you can have. (They'll need their crimps removed)
