Shield 9

I happened to be in the right place at the right time yesterday, and picked up a M&P Shield in 9mm. NIB for $419.

Bonus was only $10 for the background check and wait time was less than 5 minutes.

Ten dollars for a BG check? What BG check? The form and the call to nics is free.

Not anymore in Colorado. Most shops are charging $25-$35 for the cbi check. You even have to get a check for private transfers that have to be done at a ffl.

It's a real bunch of bs.

Shafting their customers? Sounds like California.

A few days ago, I stopped in at a local shop since it was my day off. I only went to "look around" but wound up walking out with a Gen1 Glock 17. I've always wanted one, so this was a good find for me.

Latest Acquisition

Local auction had this listed so I had to see what it would sell for. $550.00 and I had me a ZB-37 with all the whistles and bells!

Ruger 10/22 with purple/gray laminate wood. For the wife(loves purple).

Glock G26's consecutive #'s: left has a purple ceracoat and right is factory.

Without looking at the picture I will bet you my collection that the firearm in question is an HK.
It's an inside joke.
Several years ago HK unveiled a new catalog at the SHOT show.
The problem was whoever took the picture for the cover photo was not a gun person and loaded the magazine backwards.
Hundreds if not thousands of copies of this catalog were distributed before someone realized the mistake and pulled the catalogs.
They are very sought after and it has been a running gag by HK owners ever since.

FNX 45 Tactical

Shot only fifty rounds so far, first six were all stove pipes, after that no problem. Has anyone had any problems with that Russian Tulammo inthe steel cases? The first five was that stuff, then I switched to blazer brass, got one stove pipe and the rest ran fine. So about how many rounds does it take to break this thing in?

The Russian stuff ran fine in a Browning BDA.

HOLY CRAP!! Oh, wait, Canada. Huh, I didn't think the exchange rate had gotten that bad down here. I suppose pretty soon you guys will start crossing the border on the weekends to pick up cheap porcelain knick-knacks and fireworks

Btw, torch-cut parts kits go for a few hundred more down here than what you paid
