Fixed blade carry in Illinois
I am curious if I can carry my 5" Kabar EDC here in Illinois and how it should be carried.
I know my towns local ordinances but I'm not sure on the State-wide regulations on blade length, open versus concealed, etc.
Anyone from Illinois here carry a fixed blade?
Thanks in advance for any comments, tips or advice.

Below is a good place to start your research:
Note that there is no preemption in Illinois so your local municipality may have laws more stringent that the state.

Always check Bernard Levine's site for knife laws and then double check the state law source after that to be sure there's nothing changed.
The last thing you want to do is take the word of someone on the net without first doing those two things.
