Got my C&R License
C&R license finally came yesterday. Sent out multiple copies today.
First order will be to SOG (Southern Ohio Guns). UNISSUED RUSSIAN MN 91/30 WITH BAYONET - $94.00 ROMANIAN 22 LR - $50.00 ORIGINAL NO. 5 MKI JUNGLE CARBINES -$160.00 RUSSIAN M44 CARBINES - $60.00 Plus some accessories. Three classics and one neat little .22. Yeah, I'd say the license was worth it. Oh, then for the K98 and the M98 and the Bulgie Mak and the CZ52 and the CZ70 and the Manhurin Walther and, and , and ...... This could get serious. I like it!!!!!!!

Congrats ayeaye! Only bad news is that the Romanian is not C&R eligible. Make sure you stop by the C&R Forum to learn more and make some new friends. I would also strongly urge you to add a Yugo SKS to your list as quick as you can!

Congratulations ayeaye and welcome to the world of the perpetually broke! I second what No4Mk1 said about the Yugo. I just picked up and 'excellent condition' one from Aim Surplus (http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/) and it is really beautiful.
Also don't forget to send copies off to Brownells (http://www.brownells.com/) and Midway (http://www.midwayusa.com/). The money you'll save here will more than pay for the cost of the license.

Hmm, been awhile since I purchased a C&R weapon. Think, I'm ready for the

I got my C&R yesterday! It took 72 days from when I mailed it to when I received the license. Those Schmidt Rubin's are looking tasty...

I don't think that the Bulgarian Mak that was mentioned is eligible either. The Russian & EG are but not the Bulgarian (as usual, check before believing me).
Enjoy the C&R. It is amazing how a small piece of paper can convert dollars to guns so quickly. ![]() Greg |

Hello C&R, goodbye savings.
Welcome to the wonderful world of C&R. I've been eyeballing those #5's from SOG for a while now but every time the savings account starts looking up a scruffy old Mosin-Nagant follows me home. Post back how she looks.

Agree the Bulgarian Makarov is not C&R eligible.
I had assumed that they were since the Russian and EG ones are. |

Don't forget that Brownell's gives substantial "trade" discounts - and having a C&R qualifies. Give 'em a call. Others do the same thing... hey - save a little - spend a lot - every little bit helps

To expand on MdShooter, a C&R gets you dealer pricing at MidwayUSA also.

It's interesting to observe
how everyone who is so set against gun paperwork is so enthusiastic about getting a ..... license.
The nice thing about a license is that it removes all barriers to any claim of "ignorance" if a licensee happens to slip up on something. Due process is shortcutted REAL fast for any prosecution of any "licensee" in ANY field.
